Posted by admin on Nov 21, 2008

Wrath of the Lich King brings with it the huge new continent of Northrend and 10 more levels to earn as we explore the new areas. Are you going to explore it on your own, with friends, or do some “Do it Yourself” Powerleveling?

First there was “Vanilla” WoW. With the level cap of 60 and fondly (?) remembered by old timers. Then came the Burning Crusade, with its 10 new levels, new dungeons, new continent (the Oultands) and new gear (rendering much of the old gear obsolete, even the epic stuff.) With it came the Blood Elves and the Draenei.

Scream singing may seem like noise to some, but it is really a very complicated process. If you are into death metal singing, you need to learn to scream properly.

The first key to scream singing properly is to be patient. It can’t be done overnight. It can take months or even years to perfect. Don’t become impatient and scream more than you are capable of. You could seriously damage your vocal chords doing that. Also, when you do scream singing, don’t use all of your air up at once. It will hurt. Remember that everything is good, in moderation.

Great Nature Photography On A Cloudy Day

Posted by admin on Apr 26, 2008

Nature photography relies on capturing your subject in the best natural light. Often the best option for a subject is to take your photos on a cloudy day, so photographers should not be discouraged by waking up to grey skies.

Great nature photography relies on good natural light above all else. Even a beginner soon learns that for most landscape photos, the best results are usually early in the morning and late in the afternoon, when the sun is low, and the light is soft and colourful. If Only I Had A Better Camera…

Posted by admin on Apr 21, 2008

Photography beginners can make great improvement in their photography, not by buying better equipment, but by understanding the basics of photography and learning to use the camera they have.

“I would love to be a better photographer…if only I had a better camera.” This is a comment I hear every day in my gallery. What many people don’t understand is that the type of camera you use is not the key to improving your photography.

Pride makes it hard to admit that we are just not very good at something. Photography is no exception: of course it is much easier to blame the camera. The trouble is, if we want to take better photos, will buying a better camera make that happen?
